More cars from the famous American car manufacturer Chevrolet are being recalled due to a failure in the refueling system<\/strong>. Problems like this are considered the most dangerous due to the multiple failures in the system, which can provoke them. On the other hand, this recall is not one to be scared of: owners will start receiving notification letters on October 6<\/strong>, directing them to have their maintenance done at the nearest licensed dealer. Other automakers have dealt with problems in the fuel system in 2025. Chevy’s iconic model is being recalled: Thousands of cars need repair<\/span><\/h2>\n

General Motors is recalling thousands of Chevrolet Corvettes over a fuel leak that could spark a fire, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall covers 23,656 vehicles from<\/a> the 2023-2026 model years, all equipped with a left-side radiator and fan setup. NHTSA says excess fuel can spill into the filler pocket during refueling and drip onto a hot surface – creating the risk of fire. <\/a><\/p>\n

In order to fix the issue, dealerships will install a shield to divert spilled fuel. The repair will be free, and owners will start receiving notification letters on October 6<\/strong>. A follow-up notice will go out once the remedy is officially available. Drivers can also check online whether their car is included in the recall by searching their make and model \u2014<\/span> or by entering their license plate or VIN on the NHTSA website.<\/p>\n

Other classic cars affected in 2025: Multiple brands suffered in March<\/span><\/h2>\n

This isn’t the first Corvette recall this year. Back in March, GM recalled more than 90,000 vehicles across Chevrolet and Cadillac for a transmission problem. Separately, a distinct recall also affects Camaros, Corvettes, Cadillac CTS sedans, and Cadillac ATS models for a power steering issue. In those cases, faulty electrical flow between the circuit board and steering gear could cause drivers to suddenly lose steering assist.<\/p>\n
