It was a much “smaller” place. The advent of the internet and the wave of social media that followed exemplified the progress we made as a species. And the energy sector has evolved along with tech.

Do you believe that “teleportation” is not only possible, but could be used to beam energy to Earth?

How energy and progress go hand-in-hand, moving us all forward

The energy sector has become interconnected with our progress as a species; that much can not be denied.

The energy that powers our lives also serves as the primary “fuel” for our collective progress. It affects the individual and social progress that has become a necessity over the past few decades.

As the first days of the Industrial Revolution came into focus around the world, we made significant steps forward.

However, as we move ahead, the need to adapt the energy sector to not only power our lives, but also innovate itself has become clear. Necessity breeds innovation, no matter which sector you’re talking about.

The US energy industry: A train of progress heading down the tracks of life

While advancements in energy production have become a regular factor in modern-day society, some nations have played a bigger part than others.

The US energy sector has become one of the largest anywhere in the world. And as new energy-generating processes are revealed through the clean and renewable energy sector, the US stands at the forefront of an energy evolution.

As millions hope for relief from power bills every month, some opt for the untapped power of the sun. Others have headed down a much more “windy” avenue of energy.

Wind turbines have become as much a part of the coastline as the iconic beaches of the nation. However, as one state has proven, wind turbines can idle, even in near-perfect windy conditions.

Some states in the union have unearthed recent “oceans of energy” that could hold the key to our energy needs being met over the next few decades.

One Japanese scientist has viewed all these energy generation methods as not advanced enough for his liking and took it upon himself to propose a theory of truly scientific and futuristic proportions.

The study, “Quantum Energy Teleportation: An Introductory Review”, published in arXiv, lifted the veil on an amazing theory that could make teleportation possible.

A Japanese sci-fi concept that details how teleportation has become possible

Masaahiro Hotta proposed Quantum Energy Teleportation as a new method to send vast amounts of energy through the inky blackness of space.

The tiny, random ripples of energy that send data and information through space could, in theory, according to Hotta, be used to send huge amounts of energy to us down here on Earth.

His theory proposed leveraging quantum entanglement to suck out energy and “transport” it to the world.

Quantum Energy Teleportation is being advanced to grow our knowledge of energy technology

He noted that this can be achieved by locking into the energy buzz that exists in space. As these points in space are “entangled,” the data revealed from measuring them can be sent to us through Quantum Energy Teleportation.

By measuring the data and sending it through the “invisible field,” no interruptions in receiving the information can give us an insight as to how the energy can be extracted and used here on Earth.

Physics is a complex and beautiful form of science that may hold the answers to our energy needs.

As we face sky-high electric bills every month, quantum entanglement may provide us with the answers to unlocking a hidden trove of energy.

A Japanese scientist took a page out of Star Trek to develop a theory that would shake the world.
