Our dreams are turning into movies.

For generations, the reason we dream and what exactly goes on in our brains while sleeping has been a challenge to decipher. A new innovative product has been revealed that will turn our bedside dreams into a video for us to watch and show the world. Sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, right?

How has science developed this daydreaming technology?

Through our collective technological progression, we have made significant impacts on human life.

At the turn of the century, the global life expectancy was roughly 32 years. Since then, through our remarkable breakthroughs in medical science, the average life expectancy has risen to approximately 73 years, more than doubling our time frame for existence.

We have made substantial medical breakthroughs, such as the new vaccines that treat a wide range of illnesses and pathogens.

Even something as challenging as long-distance communication has become far easier through our digital revolution. Through instant messaging apps and the world of social media, the global population has become far more connected than at any other point in history.

Our progression from a basic society that relied on older technologies has shifted towards a new era of a digital economy.

E-commerce now handles the global economy, moving trillions of dollars with a simple click. The mobile technologies that we are developing at a rapid pace contributed $7.6 trillion to the global economy last year.

Just by having a stable internet connection, we have opened the door to a world of information for us all.

Online courses have become a major educational tool for millions who were starved of educational platforms. Even the medical sector has been relying on new technology to deal with the world of superbugs that have become an all too common problem for millions.

While our progress has been a major step forward for us as a global civilization, what takes place in our dreams has stayed in the deepest regions of our consciousness, a new innovative creation may change all that.

Our dreams have confounded the best and brightest minds for generations.

SIgmund Frued developed his own theory of what our dreams mean, while nearly every culture in the world has its own beliefs about the meaning of our dreams. An innovation from Amsterdam-based design studio Modem can now record your dreams and edit them into a video for you to watch.

AI-powered tech has become the latest must-have for the forward-thinking among us.

Modem has created what they call a “Dream Recorder” that, instead of using our brain waves, relies on our spoken descriptions to generate notably surreal and cinematic videos of our dreams that even Steven Spielberg would be jealous of.

The device works by generating videos based on our first spoken words after we wake up.

Once you arise from your nightly slumber, you double-tap the device on a specific point and describe your dream to it. The AI integrated into the device then uses your spoken description to generate an oddly surreal video.

The Dream Recorder uses the latest in AI tech and video generation software to create a hazy, dream-like 5-second video.

Modem has noted that the price of generating these dream movies varies depending on the components used. Using a device to capture video is certainly not a new creation, but this one enters the deepest regions of our hidden consciousness to create a “dreamy” video.

Are you ready to share your dreams with family and friends in the form of a surreal video?

Our dreams are turning into movies.
