X-Rotor innovation revealed

The X-Rotor project is revolutionizing the renewable energy sector.

The world is turning its back on the fossil fuel dependency that has dominated the industry for the past century. The clean energy market has grown in leaps and bounds, no doubt due to the overwhelming realization that the traditional ways of producing energy are not sustainable.

How will the X-Rotor change the wind power sector, you ask? We have a few answers.

At first it seems like a decorative tulip sculpture — Then the blades start moving and the turbine harvests wind from all directions

In the 1970s, an American living off-grid searched for energy beyond sun and wind — He ended up leading a powerful movement

Scientists create the first ‘liquid’ solar energy in a bottle — It absorbs sunlight and stores it at the molecular level, outperforming batteries

Wind power can blow you away

As the energy industry evolves, change is inevitable.

The generational reliance on the oil and gas sector has led the world down a path of self-destruction. Climate change is a real issue with profound implications for us all. It is our collective responsibility to address the issues and decarbonize the international energy industry.

The reality is that more and more of the world is turning to the wind energy sector to bring light to their lives.

And without the need to innovate, our society faced stagnation. Solar power has lifted the veil on the clean energy sector. But due to the significant limitations and the impact of bad weather, an alternative energy generation method was necessary.

Power, power, my Kingdom for some more power

The global population is growing with every passing year.

And all those people need energy to survive.

While the oil and gas industries have served mankind well over the past century, their undeniable impact on the planet has become a reality too serious to ignore.

Backyard nuclear reactors have seen many people attracting some unwanted attention from the government due to the inescapable danger they pose.

Families across the nation face sky-high electric bills every single month. And things are only going to get more expensive as the cost of living increases. Inflation has affected the price of everything, from eggs to the energy needed to power our homes.

The reality of today’s world is that change is a part of life. The wind power sector has become a tried and tested method to produce vast amounts of clean, renewable, and most importantly, free energy.

As energy becomes way too expensive, an innovative solution has been developed in Europe that may provide dramatic reductions in the cost of everyday life.

Are you ready for a dramatic reduction in your Levelised Cost of Energy?

The X-Rotor project is set to provide a new era of wind power production

The X-Rotor project has been developed and funded by the EU Horizon program.

The innovation aims to develop an X-shaped, hybrid horizontal/vertical axis offshore wind turbine. The project promises to reduce our collective Levelized Cost of Energy by roughly 20-30%. It achieves this by combining a central vertical-axis rotor with a significantly smaller horizontal-axis rotor.

Necessity breeds innovation. And the need to drastically reduce not only our monthly bill, but also our own carbon footprint has become paramount.

The X-Rotor program brought together the best minds from around the EU

The project was led by the University of Strathclyde, working alongside a litany of European Universities.

Its significance can not be understated, as the project aims to address the need for low-cost energy production. Wind power has become an advanced decarbonization method that the international energy industry needs to innovate.

Our collective understanding of the impact of energy generation has deepened as climate disasters become an all too common occurrence.

With our monthly electric bills reaching for the sky, something needed to be done to reduce the price of power to light up our homes and businesses. The X-Rotor project will deliver a sustainable form of clean energy production that revolutionizes the industry for good.
