Christmas time is upon us, and this year is set to be that extra bit special for UK families. This year will be the first in which UK families can shop like a true royal. The end of the year brings with it some holiday cheer as the United Kingdom prepares for celebrations to ring in the new year. The litany of annual Christmas markets presents a challenge to UK families. Which one has the best stalls? Where can I park if I do decide to go? And most importantly, is it worth packing up the whole family to drive down to the event? These questions need answers; thankfully, we have some.
Christmas time in the United Kingdom has become a family affair that celebrates what’s most important in life
Dealing with the stress of everyday life can be challenging; however, spending time with loved ones can alleviate the pressure of modern-day society. What could be better than taking some time to spend with family and friends at a Christmas market? Finding the right event for Christmas celebrations can be enough to make a sane person go stark-raving mad.
However, this year, we can all rest a little bit easier as the annual Christmas celebrations are set to be hosted by Living Heritage Events at the Sandringham Estate, a fantastically Royal family home that is set to open to the public in just three days. What makes this event so special, you ask? Well, for one, the event will only be running from the 14th to the 16th of November.
What to expect from this year’s Christmas Craft, Food, and Gift Fair
For any UK family, buying the right Christmas pressies can be a challenge on its own. However, we urge you to consider making a trip down to the royally festive Christmas Craft, Food, and Gift fair, as this year promises to be that little bit extra special with a fantastically seasonal celebration of Christmas in the United Kingdom. The litany of gifts, delicious food, and seasonal music would even get the Grinch into the Christmas mood.
Be sure to take advantage of the weekend and make a trip down to Sandringham Estate
While we understand that some of you might still be working, the weekend provides you with some time to peruse the Christmas event taking place at Sandringham Estate, which will be hosted by Living Heritage Events on behalf of His Majesty. This year will feature over 250 stalls offering hand-crafted items made by the best of the best of British craftsmen, designers, and artists.
That will be coupled with the seriously delectable food stalls that will be offering something uniquely Christmas-themed for the whole family to enjoy. If the food offerings are not to your liking, perhaps pop down to the Country Kitchen to pick up a few menu ideas from the world-class chefs. Be sure to book in advance to avoid missing out, or take the chance and pick up your tickets when you get there. Oh, and the family pooch can also tag along, but they need to be on a lead.
Christmas time is especially important for the little ones, and this year’s event will feature some specialties for the munchkins
On top of the over 100 stalls and marquees, backed up by live music from the food court, the smallest in the family can be treated to the myriad of Christmas attractions specifically put there for the little ones. This year will see the Christmas Elf, a festive helper for Santa, as well as the Elf on the Bubble Bike, which has been a fan favorite in recent years. Add to that the Noisy Oyster puppet company and the all-new Christmas Land Train, and this year’s event will surely be a hit for you and the whole family.
