Checks hitting accounts on June 15

Wisconsin’s policy had 2,700 beavers removed from its streams in a single year, and the $22 million bill that landed on Milwaukee County right after is forcing regulators to rethink what a pest is actually worth

More than 95 percent of it vanished off northern California in just a few years, and once economists finally ran the numbers, the forest hiding under the waves turned out to be worth 500 billion dollars a year

A single giant whale locks away 33 tonnes of carbon over a 60 year life and feeds the ocean’s tiniest plants that make half the air we breathe, and when economists finally priced all of it, one living whale came out at 2 million dollars

Times are tough with the state of the economy and the ever-rising cost of living. So, if you need a little extra cash, look no further. Checks of $725 are hitting accounts on June 15, 2025. There is one catch, however. Only citizens in one particular state may have qualified for the checks if they met all the requirements, of course. Do not waste any time. Check today if you were selected. You never know, $725 could be yours soon.

This is why checks will be sent in June

We all live in a time where we unfortunately face financial difficulties every month due to the persistent effects of the pandemic. This situation led to various stimulus payments being approved by Congress, which aimed to alleviate some of the financial burden. According to the US Government Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC), between 2020 and 2021, three rounds of payments were distributed to households. As indicated by Nasdaq, the more than 476 million payments resulted in a total of $814 billion being distributed.

Unfortunately, there are presently no scheduled federal stimulus checks. However, some states decided to step in and continue to assist their citizens with the financial difficulties they face. These states include New York and Colorado, which have been distributing stimulus checks as direct economic support. Another particular state will be distributing $725 through its pilot program.

This state will be distributing stimulus checks

After the pandemic, California became one of the states that explored ways to assist its citizens. Sacramento County specifically launched a pilot program called the Family First Economic Support Pilot (FFESP), which distributes monthly payments to low-income families to help alleviate financial hardship and assist in affording essential expenses, including food, rent, and childcare.

The FFESP became a tangible and quantifiable program, as it trended by directly offering financial relief as a method to lower inequality in the US, especially to households 200% below the federal poverty level. That is why Californians in Sacramento County will benefit from stimulus payments again this year. However, it is important to understand who qualifies for the FFESP stimulus payments.

Only these citizens will qualify for the stimulus payments

Qualifying beneficiaries will receive monthly payments of $725 for a whole year. This proves to be a valuable additional income for parents and/or legal guardians who are caring for children 0-5 years old. The goal is to assist beneficiaries to freely use resources in order to meet their most essential daily needs.

Applicants should note that only 200 families in specified zip codes in Sacramento County will receive monthly payments after a random selection period. The selection will be made from applications that met certain requirements indicated by the FFESP.

According to the Family First Economic Support Pilot Program, these are the requirements that had to be met to be considered for the program:

  • Applications for the FFESP program were sent before the deadline on March 30, 2025.
  • Set income limits were met to receive the cash.
  • You must live in one of the six eligible Sacramento County zip codes and care for a child aged 0–5.
  • You will receive priority if you did not receive financial aid in previous programs, such as the Golden State Stimulus program.

If your household was among the randomly selected ones, you can expect your first stimulus check to be paid on June 15, 2025. Per the program’s official website, the $725 monthly payments will continue until May 15, 2026. This will be a welcome addition, especially since inflation continues to increase. As with many other state programs that provide financial relief, the FFESP provides hope for hundreds of households who are merely trying to survive in uncertain economic times and provide for their families.
