A unique lunar experience is heading our way.
For as long as mankind has existed, we have gazed upon our moon in awe and wonder. A select few have had the honor of laying footprints on the surface of our moon, but the dream of reaching into the stars may become a reality for some around the world in the not-too-distant future.
How would you feel about a giant “glowing moon” coming to your state?
How our understanding of the moon has changed over the years
Our knowledge of the moon has changed dramatically over the last half-century.
At first, there were three theories of how the moon came to be. The first was the Capture theory, which suggests that the moon was captured and lured towards us by the Earth’s gravity.
The second theory, that is the Co-formation hypothesis, believes that the moon formed alongside our planet at the same time.
And the last theory suggests that the moon is actually a large chunk of our planet that broke away millions of years ago. Data sets have revealed that the actual origin of the moon most likely came from a Mars-sized object that collided with Earth to form the cheese-like structure.
Our scientific technology has revealed some of the mysteries of the cosmos
If the early astronomers could only see us now. We have come remarkably far in understanding some of the mysteries of space.
Through tech like the Hubble and James Webb telescopes, astronomers have found gigantic radio circles that are empty inside and expel massive amounts of space radiation into the universe.
But what else is there for NASA and others to find deep in the apparent emptiness of space?
Well, for one, we have found that dark matter is the cosmic concrete that is holding the universe together, even if we can’t see it with our own telescopes and satellites.
Thanks to the efforts of Earth-based telescopes, we have opened the book of the cosmos to reveal some astonishing truths.
Our moon has easily been the focus of most of our space exploration, and with the latest lunar eclipse wowing the world, a new development that will see giant “glowing” moons on Earth has come to light.
Huge glowing moons are coming to several nations around the world
An ambitious $5 billion architectural concept has been making the rounds around the world.
Most of us will never get the chance to walk on the moon, but Moon World Resorts may give us down here on Earth a glimpse into the lunar experience. Co-founders Sandra G. Matthews and Michael R. Henderson have launched the Moon World Resorts company.
The project aims to construct four massive lunar-themed resorts around the world.
It focuses on making space tourism affordable for the masses, albeit a watered-down version on Earth. Visitors can experience a simulated experience of the lunar surface for as little as $500, which is a massive saving compared to how much it would cost to actually travel to the moon.
The project has attracted the attention of millions of space tourists
The Moon World Resorts is not just a far-fetched idea; they have actually registered as an intellectual property and design licensor, and have been actively searching for regional partners to help fund and develop the exceedingly expensive lunar resorts.
The centerpiece of the concept is a giant spherical structure that stands at 735 feet and houses a “lunar colony”.
Guests can explore a hyperrealistic lunar surface at their own leisure without the worry of running out of air. The concept has 4,000 luxury hotel suites, 300 “sky villas”, and even a 10,000-seat arena. In the US, Las Vegas and California have been identified as possible future locations.
With the recent lunar eclipse and blood moon fresh in our memories, the question becomes, would you fork out some cash to visit the Moon World Resort?
